Project #1
Objective: The objective of this project is to design an Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) with the following specifications to use in a Switched-Capacitor based readout circuit for capacitive sensor.

Specifications:

The required specifications are 100dB open loop DC gain & 5MHz unity gain frequency.

Tools: MENTOR

Technology: 0.35um CMOS Technology

Project #2

Objective: The objective of this project is to design a Switched-Capacitor based readout circuit for capacitive sensor.

Specifications:

The capacitive sensor is a Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) sensor which senses the pressure. As per the specifications, capacitance increases as pressure increases. 1pF at ”no” pressure and 1.5pF at the highest pressure.

Tools: MENTOR

Technology: 0.35um CMOS Technology

Project #3

Objective: The objective of this project is to design an Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) for using in charge sampling circuits for medical ultrasound imaging applications.

Specifications:

The required specifications are 46dB open loop DC gain & 1.4GHz unity gain frequency.

Tools: MENTOR and CADENCE

Technology: 90nm CMOS Technology

Project #4

Objective: The objective of this project is to design a charge sampling amplifier (CSA) as an analog front end for medical ultrasound imaging applications.

Specifications:

As per the specifications, transfer gain from CMUT(Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasound Transducer) signal source to the output of charge sampling amplifier (across feed back capacitor) to be 20dB.

Tools: MENTOR and CADENCE

Technology: 90nm CMOS Technology

Project #5

Objective: The objective of this project is to design a single ended charge sampling amplifier (CSA) as an analog front end for medical ultrasound imaging applications.

Project #6

Objective: The objective of this project is to design the onchip clock circuit for charge sampling amplifiers (CSA) in 90nm CMOS.

Tools: MENTOR and CADENCE

Technology: 90nm CMOS Technology

Project #7

Objective: The objective of this project is to design an Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) with the following specifications to use in an Ultrasound front-end transimpedance amplifier for CMUTs.

Specifications: The required specifications are 60dB open loop DC gain & 160MHz unity gain frequency.

Tools: MENTOR and CADENCE

Technology: 0.35um High Voltage CMOS Technology

Project #8

Objective: The objective of this project is to design an Ultrasound front-end transimpedance amplifier for CMUTs.

Tools: MENTOR and CADENCE

Technology: 0.35um High Voltage CMOS Technology

Project #9

Objective: The objective of this project is to design an adjustable gain Ultrasound front-end amplifier for CMUTs.

Tools: MENTOR and CADENCE
